Wonderful hotel with outstanding food and ideal location adjacent to Near to public transport as well as restaurant which stops serving early. The rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view of the airport.

A bit small bathroom.

The room was pet-friendly with a view of the airport, and I slept very well. The setting of hotel was magnificent and beautiful, down to Leigh on Sea.

Impeccably clean, family-run hotel with pleasant and decent staff. Unbeatable location of the property near Rochford Hundred golf club. Based just next door to airport and a fast food restaurant. Overall LOVELY stay on a business trip.

The service in the restraunt was very, very slow. Bar menue was poor as was range of whisky, no Jameson, no Powers and no Teachers

Excellent service all round from reception through to the bar upstairs.

The room was beautiful and it was very close to the station.

The breakfast was very overpriced and when we went there was no bacon, no eggs and no bread. When the staff brought us over bacon for two they brought one slice? Was a joke for 13.95 no way.

The Hotel is excellent and great value for money but it was disappointing that you are charged £5.00 a night for parking in their car park!

wasn't allowed to leave my car keys at reception so it could be collected by one of my staff as "this is against company policy" - not an uncommon request in the hotel world!!

Convenient and close to the people and places we needed to visit.

Noise/loud music until 1.00am coming from a function in another part of the hotel. Dreadful reception on the T.V. in our room. All BBC T.V. and B.B.C. radio channels and a few others were lobliterated by bad signal during our whole stay. However, we noticed that the T.V. in main reception didn't have this problem. We reported all of this to Reception at the time. If residents are going to be kept awake, at least the T.V. needs to be working properly!

We stayed for 3 nights n the hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were super friendly and polite. Had a great view of the airport from our room. It was easy to catch the bus to the seafront, really close bus stop too. Would def stay here again when we come back to southend!

Parking charges were a bit confusing and we had some trouble with air con controls. Would have liked better cleaning from the room service.

The hotel was comfortable and thestaff went beyond the norm tobe helpful

My only criticism is about the cheese board. I expected the chef to show more imagination and not served up three pieces of non-discrip cheese.- I had expected at the very least Chedar, red leicest and stiton.

Proximity to airport. Was meeting a friend on early flight loved being able to watch plane land and wait for her to call me to walk all of 500 yards to meet her.

I loved the elegant decor throughout the Holiday Inn Southend with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The accessibility features were excellent.

More comfortable seating in common areas for seniors.
